Privacy Policy

When you use the Service, we may collect the following:

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your username or email address and a password (stored by our authentication provider, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile information those providers share with us, such as your name and email address.
• Campaign content. Information you enter or generate while using the Service, including brand briefs, audience segments, campaign plans, media plans, notes, and any images or logos you upload.
• Knowledge base documents. Documents you upload to your campaign or global knowledge base, including their extracted text, which is used to ground AI analyses.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card numbers; we receive records such as your subscription status, plan, and credit purchases.
• Feedback and support. Messages you send us through the feedback form or other support channels.
• Usage records. Records of AI feature usage and credit consumption associated with your account, so we can apply trial and plan limits.

You can try parts of the Service without creating an account. In guest mode, your trial credits and campaign work are stored temporarily in your browser session and are not linked to an account. If you clear your browser session or close it, that guest work may be lost. Guest submissions are still processed by the AI and third-party services described below.

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service, including AI-powered analysis and media planning features.
• Maintain your account, campaigns, and knowledge base content.
• Apply credit limits, trial offers, and subscription entitlements.
• Send transactional communications, such as sign-in, billing, and service notices.
• Respond to feedback and support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded campaign content or documents to advertise to third parties.

marOO relies on third-party services to operate. When you run an analysis or generate a plan, the relevant inputs (such as your brand brief, audience segment data, and knowledge base excerpts) are sent to AI service providers to produce results. These providers process that content on our behalf to deliver the feature you requested.

• AI providers. Used for research, audience analysis, market data summarization, and creative generation.
• Public market data. Market Signals features retrieve publicly available market and prediction data from third-party public APIs.
• Infrastructure and authentication. Cloud database, authentication, and storage providers that host the Service and your data.
• Payments. A payment provider processes subscriptions and one-time credit purchases.
• Email delivery. An email provider delivers transactional emails on our behalf.

These providers act as processors of your data as needed to provide the Service. Their own privacy policies govern their handling of the data they process.

The Service uses browser cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and track local credit usage between syncs. You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out and reset locally stored guest work.

We also use an advertising measurement pixel provided by OpenAI. When it loads, it collects page-view and usage data about your visit and shares it with OpenAI for advertising measurement and ad optimization — for example, to understand whether our ads lead people to use the Service. In regions that require consent for this kind of tracking, the pixel loads only after you accept it through our consent banner, and you can reject it there without affecting your use of the Service. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage; to change or withdraw it later, clear the "cookie_consent" entry in your browser's site data (or clear site data entirely) and the banner will appear again on your next visit.

We share information only with the service providers listed above, as needed to operate the Service; with payment providers to process transactions; and where required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property. We do not otherwise share your personal information or campaign content with third parties for their own purposes.

We keep your account information and campaign content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete campaigns and their content from within the Service. If you would like your account or personal information deleted, contact us (see "Contact") and we will process your request, subject to any legal retention obligations.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, including restricting access to your data to your account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
